Urban Interest acquires historic office building ‘De Drie Hoefijzers’ in Breda
9 October 2019On 7 October 2019, the historic office building ‘De Drie Hoefijzers’ at Ceresstraat 13 in Breda gained a new owner. Urban Interest acquired the listed monument, which is situated within walking distance of Breda Central Station, from the private investor Kavee Monumenten in an ‘off-market’ transaction. The building was completed in 1927 in an art deco/Nieuwe Haagsche School architectural style, and was originally the head office of the ‘De Drie Hoefijzers’ brewery. The office building had a makeover in 2011, and long-term tenant ‘Offices For You’ now offers organisations flexible office space at this location.
According to Bram van Meijl from Urban Interest, the De Drie Hoefijzers office building is a valuable addition to the organisation’s existing portfolio of homes, retail space and offices. Urban Interest is always open to acquiring new propositions, as evidenced by the company’s acquisition earlier this year of the renowned ‘Storq portfolio’.
