Sustainable residential area enriches Apeldoorn Zuid

27 March 2020

Six residential complexes have recently been renovated, so that a total of 151 homes are now more sustainable. The complexes are connected to district heating that runs on residual heat from incinerators. In addition, solar panels have been placed on the roofs, the residents have been fitted with HR++ glass, and extra insulation has been installed in the roofs. This amazing development has made sure that the residential complex is ready to face the future and that residents can enjoy greater comfort in their own homes. That is by no means an unnecessary luxury now, when the coronavirus is causing so many people – including the residents of Apeldoorn Zuid –to spend so much more time at home.
