Embassy of Malta relocates to national monument on Nassaulaan

22 September 2021

The Maltese embassy will soon move into the national monument at 15 Nassaulaan in The Hague. A stone’s throw from the old location on the Carnegylaan, also in our portfolio. Due to organisational growth, the embassy has decided to relocate and signed a 15-year lease for the new premises. The new location is a national monument from 1846 and is located near Willemspark. The building was built at the time of King Willem II and was then part of a large horse management complex.

Bram van Meijl, responsible for our office portfolio: “In addition to the Australian and Portuguese embassies, we can once again house the embassy of Malta for a long time!”

Urban Interest has given the building a small upgrade so that the embassy can use this beautiful and fresh office in the coming years.
